Piano Melodies Music Centre officially opened its doors in May 2001. Like most businesses, its humble beginnings began with a single person, Musik.

Trained in Vienna, Austria, at the prestigious Vienna’s Academy of Music (Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien), Musik braved the world and left for Toronto, Canada in 1975. Taking residence in a small upstairs apartment, she gave private piano lessons to a handful of students. Musik later moved in 1981 to her current residence in Mississauga. Teaching from her small and obscure piano studio, Musik’s Piano Studio, she mentored students of varying ages and levels. Her encouragement motivated her students to strive for the very best.

For more than 35 years, Musik successfully taught and prepared students to complete examinations at the renown Royal Conservatory of Music in piano, rudiments, harmony, and history. Many of her students have participated in competitions and achieved the highest of standing.
